Want to get fit but don’t know where to start? My name is Neil Wheeler, a personal trainer and gym instructor, and I can help you reach your fitness goals. Whether you want to be fit and stronger or lose weight, Neil's Fitness will give you the personal training that’s best for you in.


I was overweight back then, but with proper diet and exercise, I achieved the fitness that I want. Now, I'm here to share with you how you can be fit, too.

Biography

I first got into fitness in 2013. A friend invited me to run 10km without me realizing how far it was. I said yes, but when I learned that the run would stretch 6 miles, I joined a gym and got a personal trainer. Before this, the lack of exercise had put a few extra pounds on me. I used to be bullied at school, and that affected my self-confidence. But, with the right people helping me on my fitness journey, I started improving my self-esteem.


It’s a common myth that exercise is pure hard work and no fun. You know what? I enjoy the results I get from exercise.


I ran marathons after marathons, even joining ultra-marathons where I got to run over 27 miles. As I covered more distance, I got to experience running over different terrains. My farthest run was 100 miles within 29 hours.


I moved away from where I was first living. Even though I kept running, I took my nutrition for granted, and I was back to my original weight. I knew I needed to take action. I found a gym and hired a personal trainer who reignited my passion for exercise. Under this person’s guidance, I was re-educated on proper eating, and I started to lose weight. I was so amazed by the results. Even my friends and family could not believe how good and healthy I looked.


This was when I realized I wanted to share with others what has been shared to me. If I can do it, then others can reach their fitness goals, too, with proper guidance. I took a gym instructor and personal trainer courses where I learned new ways to make exercise fun and effective. I also took up other training-specific courses like spin, boxing, and core. I started taking gym classes and even began my own classes in my local village.
